Rocking English bulldog, made to order from solid red oak..
This unique piece is sure to delight any young child wanting a puppy of their own. I build these to the approximate specifications of a real English bulldog, with a few minor adjustments to make it practical as a riding toy.
Materials:
Solid red oak body, black walnut nose, leather ears and tail.
Finish is child and food friendly butcher block oil.
Sizing:
Height: 22″
Seat Height: 16″ from ground, 12″ from the rocker step.
Footprint: 14″W x 32″L
Weight is 15 pounds.
Timeline:
Lead time varies, but will usually be about 10-14 days.
Delivery:
I can deliver for free to a public location within 20 miles of the Martinez, GA Post Office. (Augusta, Georgia area). Beyond that, up to 200 miles, will be the GSA rate for round trip mileage (2017 Rate is 0.535/mile).
Shipping is available, however the size crosses the threshold for bulk for USPS. I went to the UPS Store to price out shipping and handling, using Chicago as a generic example, and the total came to $254.31, packaged and mailed. I wanted to go ahead and throw that out there for anyone out of the area and interested.
