Cake stands are a perfect compliment to any occasion from birthdays to weddings. I turn these on the lathe, arranging everything in a way to showcase the natural character of the lumber. They are typically finished with linseed oil to bring out the grain, followed by a mix of mineral oil, carnauba wax, and beeswax.
Below are expandable pictures exhibiting many different lumbers, turning profiles, and sizes that be used to complete a custom cake stand. Contact me to get started on your own custom cake stand, or check out the online store to see what I currently have ready to go.
